RN - Medical

Provides patient- and family-centered care through The Compass:  St. Cloud Hospital’s Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus.  Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. 

Job Requirements

 

EDUCATION

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.  Baccalaureate or Masters in Nursing preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures, and ethics.  Completion of Saint Cloud Hospital Competency Based Orientation Program.  Previous experience in nursing preferred. 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required. 

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.

National Certification in a Nursing Specialty preferred.

Oncology Based RNs: ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemotherapy/biotherapy provider card required within 24 months of hire.  Current ONS provider card must be maintained at all times.   

**If you are new RN graduate (defined as someone with less than one year of RN experience) please apply to the “2013/2014 Registered Nurse – New Graduate" position.  Your 2013/2014 Registered Nurse – New Graduate application will be considered for all units/departments; there is no need to apply to any additional RN positions.**
