Emergency RN - St. Paul at Saint Paul

Job Description

Department Overview: The Childrens Emergency department, located in St. Paul, is staffed 24 hours-a-day by board-eligible or board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and by nurses with specialized education in pediatric emergency medicine. Each facility is designed to support short-stay needs, coordinate pediatric and neonatal care transport, assault and abuse services, access to pediatric specialists, and emergency telephone consultation and referral. In addition, Child Life staff, trained in child development, help children prepare for procedures and deal with anxiety. 
 Position Overview:  Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Current Minnesota RN licensure.  Current BLS certification.

1 year current ED(ped and/or adults).
