Quality Assurance Lab Technician at Chaska

Job Description

Tests the quality of ingredients, mixes, and finished products according to established quality assurance procedures. Perform microtesting to ensure products are within specifications; report anything that is out of compliance. Collects and records results of sampling and testing into the quality assurance system. Maintains records of product quality for regulartory and company use. Promotes and supports continous improvement efforts and intiatives. Required Skills

• Computer literate in spreadshet and word applications with ability to adapt to quality assurance program specific software applications
• Inspect products using gauges, rulers, scales, and vision to ensure product meets company specifications
• Ability to work with all position levels within the company
• Documentation of data collected during testing
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently with little supervisioin
• Detail orientated
• Comply with all safety procedures and policies at all times
