Safety and Risk Manager at Avon

Job Description

Safety and Risk Manager: Provides organizational leadership for a comprehensive risk management and safety program, including workers compensation.  Examines and recommends risk management and loss control techniques including the purchase of insurance coverage.  Takes action to ensure compliance with federal and state HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations.  Advises managers on safe work methods and practices including environmental hazards. 

Job Requirements

Four-year degree in health and safety or construction required.  Five or more years of experience in the construction industry; and thorough knowledge and understanding of, and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and company regulations. 

Certified Safety professional (CSP) required.
