Job Description

• This team offers centralized network staging service for all network deployments by focusing on efficient processes to order, track, document, assemble, test and configure network hardware
• Performs second level diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for intermediate to complex data or voice communication network issues.
• Recommends, costs and implements network solutions to support business needs and solve customer problems.
• Orders, tests, certifies, installs and configures new and upgraded network hardware and software. Coordinates and implements move/add/change service requests. Responds to break/fix issues, escalating to and managing or coordinating vendors as needed.
• Monitors network capacity. Acts as project coordinator and/or subject matter expert on network initiatives. Maintains documentation. May participate in network studies and traffic analyses

Job Requirements

• The contractor will need to possess a minimum of 3 years experience with Cisco routing and switching products
• The contractor must also be able to lift network devices (up to 50 pounds) and perform normal "bench" functions (unbox Cisco routers and switches, perform GOLD diagnostics, burn-in and connect to network with basic configurations, repack and ship to final destinations, etc).
• The contractor must work well in a team and have the ability to follow directions with a keen eye for details. Hours for these positions are still being determined, but may fall either to first or second shift. Position is funded through end of year with possibility of being extended

• CCNA/CCNP certifications are preferred
