Job Description

Bose Corporation (www.bose.com) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Application Software Engineer. This position will be responsible for application software development for ElectroForce Products. The role is primarily focused on software for real-time measurement and control software that is used by our customers to perform a variety of mechanical and biologic tests with our electro-dynamic test systems.

Responsibilities include...
Design and develop JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 layouts and integration with application.
Creating, updating, and debugging complex JavaScript functionality.
Work closely with a small team of UI Engineers to innovate.
Communicate effectively with engineering teams and business units to create a unified user experience.
Various responsibilities as required on an Agile project team.

Working hours: 8-5

Skills:
JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, C/C++.
Cross-browser and cross-platform UI development experience.
Proficient with Object Oriented programming methods.
Experience working in Agile development environment.
Has been involved with all phases of product development from concept through deployment and maintenance.
Understanding of mechanical systems, signal processing and electrical measurements.
Has been involved with prototype generation.
Excellent organization and communication skills
Willingness to work on fast paced, challenging engineering projects

Desired Skills:
UI Design, Lua, Matlab
Understanding of Control systems, motion control or test and measurement
Experience establishing requirements
Highly independent

Education
BS in Software, Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8 years- experience on top
