Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, partnered with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation’s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community’s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems. 

We are currently seeking a full-time, Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis Park, MN.

JOB SUMMARY:  This position will be responsible for all accounting related activities assigned to their cost centers.  This includes preparing and reconciling financial statements; preparing the audit, tax, and budget schedules; improving existing procedures and processes; and supporting management decisions through financial analysis.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing the CDI Experience
• Provides leadership and training for staff accountants
• Analyzes financial information, determines trends, and communicates findings to senior management
• Performs timely general ledger entries and month-end close 
• Performs timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Prepares monthly financial statements with integrity, ensuring GAAP compliance, and provides strategic analysis
• Participates in annual budget process
• Ensures proper internal accounting controls
• Completes tax schedule reporting at year-end
• Assists in quarterly and year-end audits
• Calculates depreciation and amortization of capital expenses
• Completes special projects as assigned
• Develops an area of expertise within the department

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years relevant accounting experience
• CPA/CMA preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience required 
• Experience with FASB
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
• Great Plains experience preferred
