Welders and Industrial Painters-immediate need!Manpower is currently recruiting for skilled Welders and Industrial Painters (must relocate) for growing manufacturing companies in South Dakota. These are full time permanent positions with great benefits and much more!Welders required skills and experience:Welding can be stall, small parts, or sub assemblyAt least three years experience using GMAW .045Welding in the 1G, 3G, and 4G positions using .045 diameter GMAW consumablesInterpret weld symbolsExperience tying in welds on a multipass processConverting inches to CM or MMSilver NCRC certificates preferredPositive attitude, good work ethic, and ability to work with othersmust have a solid work history, pass a pre-employment drugscreen and the ability to relocate to the areaIndustrial Painter requirements:Objective of Position: Mixes and applies primer materials and finish coatings used in trailer production.Principal Responsibilities:Possesses a broad knowledge on keeping paint systems clean and does daily operator maintenance as needed.Properly adjusts and operates airless air-assist equipment. Also will use the air cup gun for repairing paint problems and touch up.Matches the orders on paint, primer, and undercoating requirements with material to be used before starting the job.Will watch for paint problems as soon as they happen, correct if possible, or contact Painter A or Supervisor immediately.Mixes and prepares paint in the paint vault on a rotating schedule. Uses air hoist to move large barrels of paint.Conducts inventory when working in paint vault.Assists in prepping trailers, sanding and reworking paint runs when assigned to the paint vault.Inspects own work.Handles, stores, and disposes of all hazardous materials properly. Successfully completes annual training.Follow standard work and procedures.Must adhere to all safety standard set by the company.Must help identify waste in process or procedure to increase efficiency.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications:Must have ability to operate air hoist.Work requires agility and the ability to move up and down on the trailers and get on a creeper to paint the underside of the trailer.Wears respirator, body suit and rubber gloves.Job is classified as medium work; lifting up to 50 pounds. occasionally with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Must have basic computer skills.Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated.Physical Demands & Work Environment:Must be able to work up to a 12 hour shift.Must be willing to fluctuate hours to accommodate needsWhile performing duties of job, employee is required to: stand, kneel, walk, sit, climb, bend, and twist; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.must have a solid work history, pass a pre-employment drugscreen, and the ability to relocate to the areaALL qualified candidates, please send your resume for further review! or fax it to 866.627.4714
