Documaker - XML - Developer at Minneapolis

Job Description

Potential contract to hire position. This individual will support the print functionality for the company via the Documaker tool (moving to v 12.1 shortly, currently on v 11).

Looking forexperience in a large company that is a heavy user of enterprise wide print solutions. Understanding of how forms work with the Documaker tool and XML skills are very helpful for this role. This is an outsourced environment and 50% of this role is hands on work with Documaker, XML and the surrounding systems. The other 50% of hands work with this system is managed by a professional service partner, and experience partnering with vendors and overseeing their deliverables is helpful.

• Drive innovation, accuracy, and timeliness in delivering print solutions for business areas.
• Create and understand project and system documentation.
• Help define business requirements for technical solutions.
• Use customer service and relationship building mindset in teamwork and collaboration as we work across departments/team and with vendors.
• Negotiating/managing external software vendors to streamline and prioritize the requirements.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Approximately ten years of professional IT development background and support experience.
• Skills with Documaker or other forms/print systems.
• XML and ability to read C++ and C+,
• Commitment to quality and timely delivery.
• Good technical writing.
• MS Office & Visio.

Helpful, but not required:

• Working knowledge of WebSphere, Espresso, and Informatica.
• Application Architecture experience.
• The Rational Suite.
• Subversion.
• Experience with Producer Management Process and systems.
