Vice President of Operations – Leeann Chin, Inc.

 

Leeann Chin is an established and vibrant Asian QSR brand with 48+ locations in MN, IA, ND and MD and were still growing! We have an immediate career opportunity for Vice President of Operations reporting directly to the COO. This key leadership position will oversee all store operations and lead our team of Regional Directors. Leeann Chin, Inc. is 32 years strong, privately owned and continues to expand into new markets, renovate our current stores and develop innovative, fresh menu items. The VP of Operations will team with the Director of Operations and COO to develop outstanding leaders at the store level and prepare this regional brand for continued expansion. This is a great opportunity for a senior level multi-unit operator to develop and build a highly engaged team focused on the companys mission and share in the success of the Leeann Chin brand.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Near term focus will be to assess and improve operating systems, day-to-day execution, cost controls, and building bench strength. Span of control will include oversight of all operations, training, maintenance, and operations services.
• Develop, train, coach and lead the operations team to achieve best-in-class results and elevate their performance. Proactively develop regional and management level talent within the organization to minimize turnover and to promote within to enable successful restaurant growth
• Embrace and enhance the Leeann Chin culture throughout the organization
• Collaborate with direct reports and the executive team to develop a comprehensive strategy and provide the effective and inspiring operating leadership necessary to grow the organization
• Attain the financial objectives of the business through effective management of people, product, service and facility processes, including a focus on the revenue and profit components
• Improve sustainable operational and service systems and infrastructure designed to meet the high standards of excellence and continued growth of the organization
• Identify, develop and monitor strategic initiatives of the company and its major competitors
• Perform special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The desired candidate will possess a minimum of 4-6 plus years of senior leadership experience as an operations leader within the restaurant industry with a progressive history of delivering superior results
• The desired candidate needs to be entrepreneurial and visionary, yet be very hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude
• It is critical that he or she be highly knowledgeable in the SOPs of major restaurant organizations and has played a key role in optimizing company operations as well has successfully built, mentored and coached teams
• The individual will have a proven ability to create short and long-term strategic plans and annual operating, marketing and financial plans and forecasts while continually monitoring and delivering strong performance against the plans
• The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as be well organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and have the ability to delegate responsibility as needed
• As an integral member of the companys senior leadership team, the candidate must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion
• The individual should be highly confident of their abilities and be considered a detail-oriented person who can tackle complex assignments. The candidate should be highly analytical.
• The candidate will need to be a consummate team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization
• The desired candidate will be hard working, with high energy, self-motivated, dedicated, loyal and ethical
