Assistant Manager - Used Tanker Equipment Sales at Saint Paul

Job Description

This position resides at our Mauston, Wisconsin facility. This area of Wisconsin provides  beautiful natural resources of lakes, rivers and wooded land with an abundance of opportunity for outdoor activities. With a lower cost of living; Western Wisconsin is a great area to raise a family or be home to the outdoor enthusiast.

 

Position Overview

 

  • Performs processes related to the sale of used tank equipment to achieve business unit profit goals.


 

Position Responsibilities

 

 

  • To develop and build positive relationships with customers for potential sales.
  • Sell used tank equipment including: assigning cost and market value to trade in tanks, issuing specification sheets to repair shop for reconditioning of inventory stock used tanks.
  • Provide timely information of used equipment inventory lists to sales representatives; using daily lot report.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to used equipment purchasing/sale records to include: spec sheets, pictures, purchase orders, invoices, leasing forms, trade or purchase inspection reports of incoming equipment, temporary license plates, titles and any other related required documentation. E-file information in used equipment files and close files when sold.
  • Obtain W9 form on all new vendors when trade or purchase equipment is involved.
  • Obtain Wisconsin tax exempt form for all new customers for order generation.
  • Provide BOL on sold, leased tank trailers when shipped.

    Work Environment

     

    • Inside (Sheltered) 60%, outside 40%
    • Physical demands: low -medium
    • Equipment/product research may require review to include bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit; talk, excellent vision and hear.

    Job Requirements

    Required Education, Certifications and Licenses

  • Associate degree in Marketing or related field desired
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft system skills using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint? – Functional ability working with an ERP system required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or sales of durable goods desired.
