The scope of the position requires quantitative abilities, knowledge of the specific market, and an understanding of the key business objectives across product suites. This role will primarily support LTC/LTSS.
Responsibilities include:
- Review customer requirements and assist with creating a client specific solution.- Understand the financials of the business and the products to ensure the economics of each client solution arereasonable and profitable- Build strong working relationships within OptumHealth Sales and Product teams- Build relationships across UHC with key matrix partners and forge agreements for production and synthesis ofinformation and process owners- Participate in client-facing meeting as needed to serve as an SME- Apply knowledge of current solution standards and previous successful designs to create consistency in complexsolution design processes- Recognize repeated market needs that current products and capabilities do not meet, and make recommendations to thebusiness on how to adapt appropriately- Assist leadership in looking forward for future opportunities and/or threats- Other related projects as they arise-Applies creative thinking and imagination on increasingly complex issues and develops viable alternatives.-Exhibits strong understanding of business strategies and develops strong ties to matrix partners.-Effectively and comfortably interacts with upper management.-Understands the big picture of the industry, market, and the business mission.-Analytical and quantitative skills combined with strong relationship development background.-Excellent communication skill; uses appropriate communication vehicles; understands audience and uses the bestmethod of conveying a message.

Qualifications:
- 10+years Product or Program Development/Management experience- Health plan experience required- Must understand clinical operations- LTC experience in a community setting is required- Clinical experience is an asset- Must have proven ability to cultivate relationships remotely- Solid understanding of Medicaid, Public Sector and/or Accountable Care Act is required- Prior business / strategic planning experience required.- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed business environment- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills- Undergraduate degree required- Degree: Public health, Masters in Nursing, Masters in Social Work, BSN or BSW with experience or other relatedexperience is ideal
