We are currently seeking an individual for our Client Services Supervisor opportunity. In this role you will who oversees the administration of the Client Services team. This person ensures that client service responsibilities are handled according to client and company requirements, as well as maintaining an environment that maximizes accuracy and productivity and incorporates risk-based controls.

Successful individuals must be able to demonstrate the behaviors and skills described below and must be able to perform a variety of duties which may include but not limited to:

The Client Services Supervisor will directly manage up to 4-6 direct reports including Client Liaisons, Document Handling Specialist and Auto Client Specialist. In addition, the Client Services Supervisor will act as liaison to specific client/s and work closely with internal management to ensure that all company and client requirements are met.

Leadership Functions:

  • Lead a small team of 4-6, balancing supervisory duties with client liaison tasks
  • Hire and train new employees as required
  • Coordinate schedules of staff, serving as backup or making certain one is available to ensure timely completion of functions.
  • Develop new training and update existing training for the Client Services team as procedures, client requirements and operations change
  • Meet with direct reports weekly to address issues or concerns and to provide coaching on personal and professional development
  • Complete annual performance reviews and make recommendations for salary changes accordingly
  • Serve as member of Operations Support Department’s Leadership team, reviewing and implementing strategic changes to optimize the department’s output and to ensure a cohesive environment exists
  • Assure correct and accurate handling of client ad hoc requests and account level issues
  • Verify that internal controls and updated processes are being followed by all team members
  • Create, edit and update process documentation as procedures begin or change, or monitor and confirm updates are handled by the assigned team members
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports are completed and distributed to internal management and clients per client requirements, accommodating client guidelines regarding delivery and assuring proper security is maintained
  • Manage team members work queues, ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Conduct monthly audits of 5 accounts for each team member that worked in FACS
  • Act as Client Services resource for client audits assuring punctual and accurate handling of all audit deliverables and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Client Services SupervisorRequired Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrated supervisory experience managing a small team; individual must be able to demonstrate experience in key areas of people management including mentoring, employee development and team building.
  • 3 years of direct client management experience preferably in the credit or collection industry
  • Leadership experience including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong problem solving skills with an understanding of the impact that the Client Services team has on the company
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Utilize clear verbal and written communications skills
  • Suggest process improvements with continued attention to client and control guidelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) and preferred experience with variety of software including FACS

Education:

  • Four year degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in people and client management required
