Ensure a safe and healthy environment is maintained at all times. Team Lead must be accessible to the quality team 95% of the time. Must also be able to perform all the jobs on team to help cover for unplanned absences.Roles and Responsibilities:Perform quality checks in all assigned areas as back up inspector as neededWork with all levels of the organization, customer, dealers and outside suppliersPaint panel testing for productionProvide first response to line issues/concernsOversee the inspection employee group and shrink wrapping processesEmployee training design and implementationNew product trialsPerform daily production auditsWrite process SOP?s and outlinesCollect and analyze data for projectsMonitors and maintains 5S in their assigned areasUnderstands and support safety policies, initiatives and training programs.Ability to locate and use the HazCom labels and MSDS information.Required and Preferred Qualifications:Product knowledge and one year manufacturing experienceAbility to work independently and makes decisions.Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Must have computer skills; (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), math and reading proficiencyAbility to obtain certification for all PPE (fit testing etc)Good data collection and compilation skillsManage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changeMust be able to read drawings and specificationsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to use pneumatic, power and hand tools.High School Diploma or equivalentWork Environment:Regularly required to stand (90%), walk, climb stairs, bend during work day. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis. Physical exertion is required.
