Production Line Mechanic

Deli Express Production Facility in Eden Prairie is looking for an experienced Production Line Mechanic. The Production Line Mechanic must efficiently set up, tear down and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and allow for efficient production. This is a fast-paced, high change over environment where every minute of downtime counts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems on the production floor quickly to keep machines operating and downtime to a minimum
• Complete routine maintenance tasks safely, cost effectively and on time
• Assist team members in keeping production area clean, sanitized and organized and product quality at a high level

 

Job Requirements

Production Line Mechanic

• Two years previous Production Line Mechanic or Technician experience required
• Maintenance activities are conducted in a Level 2 SQF Certified food safety environment so previous food experience is strongly preferred
• Packaging and slicing equipment experience is a plus (Multivac, Labelers, Weber slicers and Grote slicers)
• Ability to use Maintenance Shop equipment (including ability to weld) is a plus
• Must be able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day and work in cold conditions
• Must be able to work occasional weekends if necessary
