POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This highly visible position will lead the IT function responsible for overseeing all aspects of business systems software for Coughlan Companies including applications (packaged, developed, and Software-as-a-Service), data integration, database systems, and information reporting/business intelligence. This role leads all activities related to the strategic planning, selection, design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of related systems and technologies. You will define and enforce discipline around all related processes and design/architecture frameworks, and work closely with the CIO and other senior functional leaders to ensure alignment between business capabilities requirements and the supporting technology platforms. You will be integral to the successful delivery of key technology strategies including ERP, CRM, PRM, and eCommerce.
Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree in business management, information technology or related field; and 5+ years of management level experience in business applications solutions or related function with responsibility for teams of 8 or more direct reports. You must have experience in organizations with multi-channel product sales or wholesale distribution. Additional experience with eCommerce or other related online marketing and/or customer engagement systems preferred. You will have a demonstrated track record of communicating and interacting effectively with other functional business leaders and at all levels in the company.
You will have a background in Microsoft .NET frameworks and/or JAVA application development platforms and Tier-1 business intelligence platform solutions. You will be knowledgeable in medium-large scale ERP system environments, preferably with end-to-end ERP implementation experience.
Software-as-a-Service and/or Cloud applications and/or Integration solutions are integral to our IT systems strategy, so you will be proficient in these concepts. You will also have solid technical understanding of data integration methods and concepts including SOA, OOD, Web Services, middleware, ESB, relational databases as well as application security methods and concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption).
Your business acumen will include proven results in vendor management, contract negotiation, and issue resolution for external/3rd-party vendor relationships. You will also be adept in all phases of a release cycle, project management, and software development methodologies.
