Account Manager
RMC Project Management, the leader in Project Management, Business Analysis and Agile training and development, is looking for an Account Manager to find, develop and maintain key accounts for its complete line of offerings—live training classes, products, and self-directed e-Learning courses. The Account Manager will be responsible for finding, developing and managing key accounts, and will have a unique opportunity to make significant contributions to a dynamic and growing training firm.The Account Manager will be required to close new business, as well as grow existing accounts. The Account Manager must have deep expertise in consultative solution sales, with experience in uncovering and analyzing business needs, and providing targeted solutions to win opportunities and grow client relationships. Candidates for this position can live in the Minneapolis area, or have the ability to effectively work remotely if not located near the corporate headquarters in Minnetonka.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with existing clients to solidify and grow existing business
- Prospecting (both inbound and outbound) to find new clients
- Follow up and manage inbound phone leads, marketing campaign responses, event leads, and Web inquiries
- Analyze needs and product requirements of prospective customers
- Create and facilitate appointments to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships
- Manage prospects and opportunities using SalesForce to accurately forecast and manage a sales pipeline
- Create a strong sales presence with customers to drive awareness of RMCs solutions
- Perform sales, market, and competitive research and ensure a clear value proposition
- Staff tradeshows and regional events as required
Job Requirements
Account Manager
Account Manager Requirements:- 2-3 years experience selling corporate training, education, consulting or IT services in a B2B environment
- Experience negotiating contracts from several thousand dollars up to $100,000
- Experience working directly with Accounting, Legal, Marketing and Product Development
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to work independently to drive sales
- A track record for exceeding sales goals or targets year over year
- A bachelors degree is required, MBA preferred
- CRM experience, preferably with SalesForce.com
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time
