Job Description
Willis is currently seeking an Account Manager for Property & Casualty business in Minneapolis. Willis Account Managers comprehensively manage client needs, identifies and analyzes client exposures, and designs insurance program. Create market submission, selects, submits and negotiates with markets. Assist other Account Managers, Client Advocates and team in developing proposals and presentations. Deliver policies and communication pieces and review with clients as necessary.Some essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform client risk management analysis and provide risk management advice
- Provide continuous client service and answer client policy and coverage questions
- Communicate with client decision makers
- Answer client policy and coverage questions
- Review summary plan descriptions, documents and information requests from clients
- Review non-standard certificate requests
- Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewal, rounding and cross-sell opportunities
- Policy checking and delivery
- Development of program design and final proposals for clients
- Prepare submission
- Negotiate with markets
- Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
- Technical knowledge of product area or industry
- Check audits in less than 30 days of receipt
- Ability to provide consultation and expert advise to management on risk management issues
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets and attributes:- Minimum 3+ years Property & Casualty insurance industry experience in service and marketing role that is client facing
- Comprehensive & up-to-date technical knowledge & practical experience of Commercial Property & Casualty
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- A valid, relevant State Property & Casualty license, or ability to obtain this within first year of employment
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel & other computer systems essential
- First-class interpersonal, including relationship building, skills
- Strong communication (verbal & written), numerical, presentation & organizational skills are essential
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential
