Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing confidential administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in addition to independent responsibilities for the planning, scheduling and coordination of special events and projects including but not limited the annual board meeting and bi annual staff meetings. Performs Human Resource functions including but not limited to the development and administration of confidential files and information, exercises independent judgment and authority in matters including, but not limited to, written and verbal, internal and external communications and reports.
Essential Functions
- Ability to successfully complete all pre employment and post employment screenings including, but not limited to, background check
- Ability to follow and maintain safe working practices at all times
- Ability to frequently operate office equipment including; key board, copy machine, fax machine, register, and multi-line telephone
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to apply independent discretion and maintain confidentiality within the scope of the position
- Maintain registration as a member of the Girl Scouts of the USA
- Possession and retention of a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- Provide own transportation
- Ability to travel to various event and activities, including overnights
- Ability to work various days and hours including weekends and evenings
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written

Job Requirements
Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Business or Technical College, or equivalent Executive Assistant experience.
- Documented experience with Human Resources support
- Advanced proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent judgment with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Adaptable to the changing demands of the position.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Girl Scout program, principles, and standards.
- Sensitivity to issues affecting girls and a commitment to multi-cultural programming.
