This position is responsible for administering membership and billing in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that members have appropriate access to health care.Job Functions:1.Researches, analyzes, and resolves membership applications and/or reports 2.Provides customer service. Initiates, researches, and responds to membership inquiries via telephone and/or written correspondence3.Analyzes and reconciles various types of accounts receivables related to membership processing that are submitted via check or electronic funds transfer4.Verifies, validates, and enters data into various systems (Membership and Billing Systems, etc.) to update and/or generate appropriate member information5.Works effectively with team members and other areas to resolve inquiries timely and accurately6.Documents any additional information or specific action taken using multiple systems7.Navigates and analyzes pertinent data from various systems to apply appropriate membership related business guidelines8.Attends meetings with group contacts and/or key account representatives9.Acts as a technical resource for Membership Specialist I?s.10.Processing multiple lines of business11.Analyzes, creates, and revises membership work flows and procedures12.Other duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Previous cash/financial transaction experiencePrevious health care experiencePresentation skillsWe are located on a bus line in the South metro.
