We are seeking a Parts and Service Sales Representative to market and sell parts and labor jobs as customer solutions. Job Responsibilities
As a Parts and Service Sales Representative you will develop new incremental Parts and Service business (Shop and In-Field Repairs) by calling on current customers and developing new ones within your assigned territory. You will also be responsible for working with Field Marketers and attending unit deliveries to ensure customers are made aware of Titan Machinery’s After Sales support services and to review the general information and operation of the machine. Additional responsibilities:
- Maintaining long term relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Fully documenting, tracking and following up on all related sales activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Effectively utilizing resources and processes that will directly contribute to customer awareness, the proposal and negotiation process, closing sales, profitably increasing volume, participation, and customer satisfaction
- Seeking and participating in appropriate training opportunities to enhance equipment expertise, technical knowledge, and sales performance
- Following all safety rules and regulations
- Completing competency assessments as required
- Following-up with customers after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identifying customer service opportunities and implementing appropriate solutions
- Cold calling on all types of customers, such as national and regional accounts that have multiple types of products from various competing suppliers
- Developing and selling package support programs that contain a set of contracted services along with remote health monitoring (Telematics) systems and programs
- Presenting a positive and professional image of Titan Machinery in the presence of customers and community
Job Requirements
Parts & Service Sales Representative (Account Manager)You’re experienced in sales so you know the importance of building strong customer relationships. You also have an understanding of local market conditions and how to effectively use that information. That knowledge in combination with your drive to succeed and strong negotiating skills are why we want you on our sales team! Additional requirements:
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Previous sales experience and/or training
- High level of computer literacy
- Demonstrated strong organization, decision making, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Clean driving record
- Safety-minded work habits and basic knowledge of heavy equipment technology and repairs
