Quality Assurance Coordinator

The hiring company is located in Hibbing, Minnesota.  You must be willing to relocate.

 

Overview:

 

Responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance programs, procedures and controls, ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established company standards necessary to maintain lasting customer satisfaction. Focus is on having company-wide, continuous improvement effort.

Quality Assurance Coordinator

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Must be proficient with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Excel and Word.  Must be able to create spreadsheets and have knowledge in the use of formulas.  Ability to use Access and Power Point would be a plus.

 

Three years’ experience in a manufacturing setting/environment OR an Associate’s Degree in business management or engineering.

 

Must have worked in a facility that is ISO Compliant (Certification preferred)

 

Must have some knowledge of the process of collecting data; how and when to collect data.

Knowledge of what indicators, processes, etc. require collection for analysis.

 

Must have some knowledge of failure analysis; what and why things fail.  Use data collected for problem solving, presentation purposes, corrective actions, communications, etc.

 

Supervisory experience a plus.

 

Preferred skills:

 

Auditing, 6S, ISO/OHSAS

 

Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
