Senior Consultant, Hotel Solutions Americas at Minneapolis

Job Description

The CWT Hotel Solutions department delivers consulting solutions to strategic corporate companies to assist them in optimizing their hotel spend. As a member of the NORAM Hotel Solutions Group, the Senior Consultant will deliver expertise and valuable insights by helping clients to identify, analyze, and optimize their hotel spend. He/she is involved in every phase of a consulting engagement, from pre-proposal research through to final implementation. The Senior Consultant is responsible for managing strategic client projects as assigned by his/her manager, as well as maintaining a strong commercial focus.

This position serves five primary roles within CWT Solutions Group:

• Manage large projects independently and / or assist on consulting projects as assigned by the project manager
• Review and assist in deliverable preparation.
• Assist on multiple projects across portfolio of hotel sourcing and optimization engagements.
• Problem solving
• Assist in the business unit development for the region (prospecting, sales prep, selling, education, development of new products, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities include:

Develop and successfully manage hotel programs for CWT Hotel Solutions Group strategic clients, through data collection, interviews with key client stakeholders, analysis, strategic sourcing, hotel negotiations and selection, implementation of tools, processes, web interfaces and ongoing program management.

Present recommendations and findings to clients through formal presentations, with a high level consulting approach. Be the clients" expert point of contact in industry matters, and regularly propose optimization paths to clients. Quantify for clients the costs and benefits of recommended improvements in hotel program management.

Manage and or assist on multiple engagements concurrently, ensuring all client timelines are met and all internal constituents are satisfied.

Answer inquiries from internal and external constituents regarding a wide variety of travel industry issues (e.g., offer insights into industry changes and the impact to corporate customers which can be supported by analysis, write white papers and advisory articles, prepare case studies, etc.).
