Wells Fargo s Corporate Controller s Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to the Company s efforts in developing, implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide governance program related to regulatory reports filed by the companyThis individual will contribute to the Company s efforts in developing, implementing and maintaining a quality assurance (QA) program around regulatory reporting. The QA program will assist management in assessing and enhancing the control environment around regulatory reporting production. The related responsibilities may include: Interacting with Finance management team and key stakeholders to establish the Company s QA program. Developing an implementation plan and monitoring major stakeholders activities to ensure consistent adoption of the plan. Assisting in building QA program s approach, process, methodology, tools and documentationSubsequent to implementation of the QA program, responsibilities may include: Contributing to development of QA plans and executing QA activities in accordance with the plan Supporting awareness of regulatory reporting stakeholders through training and guidance Documenting QA results and highlighting key issues and remediation activities to QA team lead or other management team members Maintaining QA program documentationThis position will also assist with developing processes to support the on-going reporting to, and administration of, the Regulatory Reporting Oversight Committee (RROC) which will provide oversight of Wells Fargo s regulatory reporting framework and related governance processes and accountabilities. Specifically, support provided will include: Accumulating and reviewing reporting errors/issues to assess the impact on the affected regulatory reports Summarizing and communicating results of the internal control assessments and quality assurance testing Establishing and preparing reporting metrics for presentation to the RROC or to other corporate supervisory function Participating in various governance & oversight activities in support of the RROC Assisting with creating, implementing and overseeing adherence to related policies and other governance and oversight requirements which may include, among others, guidelines for report documentation, training, change management, and report attestation.Job Requirements
* Basic Qualifications:7+ years accounting experience.
