As a Cashier/Shift Manager, you will work closely with our Store Managers and District Managers to conduct day-to-day store operations efficiently. Youll be responsible for maximizing sales and providing excellent customer service, merchandising product, maintaining appropriate stock levels, developing and training store employees, achieving productivity and inventory goals, and managing expenses.

Shift managers receive an hourly premium during the hours they are responsible for store operations. The remaining hours will be spent performing cashier responsibilities. It is the perfect position for someone who is looking to develop their leadership skills in preparation for a full-time management position.

Its a high level of responsibility and a truly fulfilling career in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements for Employment include:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be reliable with the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends with availability between 6am-11pm.
• May be required to handle and sell alcoholic beverages and meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Successful completion of drug screening and background checks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to supervise store personnel by guiding performance to assure the quality and completion of work assignments.
• Retail experience preferred.
