REGIONAL SALES PROFESSIONAL
 

Terra Drive Systems / EZ TRAC, Manufacturer of innovative vocational truck aftermarket components is seeking an aggressive and proven sales professional for a regional sales position. The individual will be responsible for new business development at the end-user level specifically with severe service truck, utility fleet and existing distributor level as well as identifying and developing new accounts in related vertical markets. Interested candidates must have 3-5 years of proven success in vocational truck aftermarket related sales. This position requires one with a hunter mentality where growth drives personal fulfillment, and success is identified by sales performance.

Summary / Responsibilities - Regional Sales:

•  Plan and organize the sales region activities in order to achieve and exceed both general and specific sales objectives in accordance with the company’s global sales plan.

•  Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with customers at all levels.

•  Grow the territory sales by establishing new sales opportunities with existing and new customers.

•  Manage a multi state territory, traveling 50-70% and operating out of a “home office" in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, Minneapolis or NY/NJ.

•  Provide product training to distributors.

•  Distribute and follow up on all sales leads.

•  Identify and participate in industry related trade shows.

•  Make joint sales calls on customers and with distributor sales personnel.

•  Manage all aspects of new business development with assigned accounts including: negotiating aftermarket sales, identifying fleet users, planning and coordinating cooperative promotions, providing product training, establishing and coordinating cooperative marketing ventures, communicating and coordinating action items with application engineers and internal support personnel.

•  Complete required reporting functions including: sales call reports, expense reports, monthly sales reports, contact management reports, annual sales budgets, etc, in a thorough and timely manner.

•  4 year technical or business degree preferred.

•  3-5 years experience in severe service and vocational truck aftermarket component sales.

•  Has proven record of consistently meeting and exceeding company’s sales goals.

•  Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and contact management systems.

•  Able to work independently, operate from a home office and travel 50-70.%

•  Previous regional account sales responsibility is a plus.

•  Experience or knowledge of utility truck equipment, mobile hydraulics and vocational trucks is a strong plus.
